The school rugby team has had a very packed end to their season, with a final at Rodney Parade, a Tag tournament and a sevens competition. The team won the plate final at Rodney Parade 10 - 5 against Llanmartin School, it was a tough game, and we were proud of their play and conduct. They also managed to get into the final of the plate in the sevens, losing to Mount Pleasant. Then the school hosted Malpas Court, Malpas Park, Crindau and the British Council School of Madrid in a tag tournament with an international flavour! We would like to thank all the pupils from other schools for making a memorable afternoon, and also the help from Bettws High for providing the referees. The Spanish school won overall, and we hope all the teams will be back next year!
